I'm Rhys, the State Member for Mandurah, proudly representing the community I have called home for most of my life.

Before being elected to State Parliament, I served for seven years as Mandurah’s Mayor, working with the Council and community to strengthen local neighbourhoods, deliver significant infrastructure upgrades and support Mandurah’s business community.

I grew up and went to school locally and I'm passionate about the community he represents. I live in Mandurah with my wife, Skipper, who is a primary school teacher.

Growing up, my dad ran a small business and my mum worked in disability support. At 17, I started a youth development charity and went on to lead a number of initiatives supporting young people, which saw me recognised as Young West Australian of the Year in 2015.

Now, as Mandurah’s representative in State Parliament, I am focused on delivering for the community and ensuring Mandurah has a strong voice in the decisions that shape its future.
