A brand new Mandurah Hospital

Construction is now underway on Mandurah's biggest ever public infrastructure project: a brand new Mandurah Hospital that will transform healthcare for our growing community.

From my first day as your local Member of Parliament, delivering a new hospital has been my top priority. I'm proud that we've secured a state-of-the-art 300-bed hospital that will serve Mandurah for generations to come.

The previous plan to refurbish the existing hospital was well intentioned, but it wasn't enough for a community growing as quickly as ours. I'm grateful to the Premier, the Treasurer and the Minister for Health Infrastructure for listening to our community and backing this once-in-a-generation investment.

Building a new hospital also creates the opportunity to repurpose the existing hospital site to help meet Mandurah's growing demand for aged care services.

This is the largest public investment in Mandurah's history, and it wouldn't have happened without the strong advocacy of our community.

Construction starts now, with the new hospital set to open in 2029.

This is a milestone our whole community can be proud of.
